Spin to Win - Interactive Review Game

At the conclusion of a classroom training session, our stakeholders wanted an engaging way for the facilitator to review the content with their class.

To play, the class would be split into two teams and assigned the red or yellow game piece. Each team would take turns clicking the spinner and watch it randomly stop on a number. The facilitator would ask that team a question, and then click a button on the game to indicate if they answered correctly or not. If they answered correctly, the game piece would move forward the corresponding number of spaces. Game play continued until a team reached the end of the path.

I created the graphics for this review tool in Adobe Illustrator and I programmed the spinner and game interactions in Adobe Flash, which required the use of trigonometry to get the randomized spinner to work properly—my high school match teacher would be so proud!
